  1. Just Starting Nursing School/CNA Job

    Hi! I am also a nursing student and work part time as a CNA/student nurse in our local hospital (part time for me is 9 shifts in a six week period). It was the best decision I ever made! I am on the med/surg floor. I now feel much more comfortable in the hospital setting, gain patient care experience every time I work and get to watch nurses at work. Often, when the RN knows your a nursing student many of them are willing to let you watch them do procedures or share their knowledge. It has been a great learning experience. :) Good Luck!
