Hi Kate, I have actually been moved up to the class starting Fall 2014 now, woo hoo!! I have lived in NC my whole life, so this will be a huge change. I am moving to the area in January but have no idea where to look for a decent, affordable place. Any suggestions? I worked 2 years in CICU and the last 3 in MICU (all adults, of course). I am going to take a couple classes in the Spring, online. What classes will you be taking and when do you start full-time? I'm told that my first site will be at Delaware County Memorial. -Heath

No word yet. Should hear mid-October.

Yeah she is pretty awesome! I got recommendations from supervisors and a previous nursing instructor that also serves as a department chair. The interview wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. There were more personality questions. Only a couple clinical questions but definitely ones you should know with critical care experience.

Yeah ECU is great! I interviewed last summer and was told to reapply this summer. I know I'd really enjoy attending ECU's program. The program director is extremely helpful.

I can't believe it's that far out either. I'm super excited to be accepted but really want to start sooner. I'm required to send the $1200 deposit this month, even though the start date is 2 1/2 years away.

I just interviewed at Villanova/Crozer Chester in January. I was accepted but was told the classes for 2013 and 2014 are full. I'm accepted to the class starting Fall 2015. I was rather disappointed that it is so far away but excited to have been accepted.

I just found out I have been accepted to Villanova's CRNA program starting Fall 2015. I really wanted to start sooner but will now have more time to save money. I am not from the area and will need to relocate. I'm hoping to get to know other students also starting the program in 2015 and maybe even find a roommate.

I haven't heard anything since being placed on the alternate list.

I'm on the alternate list as well. I wonder how many people are placed on the list?

I have an interview in January. They are interviewing for August 2014. My former co-worker was accepted for the 2013 class and said it is not a panel interview and it is more of the "get to know you" questions.

I was just offered an interview to Nova. Any tips? Is the class starting Fall 2013 full?

I've heard they tend to ask more "get to know you" questions, opposed to grilling applicants with clinical questions. We shall see! I interviewed at a different school and was asked to interpret an ABG. I know all applicants at RSNA are required to be CCRN certified, so perhaps they allow that to speak to an applicant's clinical knowledge. I'm super excited and super nervous! Only a few weeks away. Do you most of you live in NC?
