  1. Has anyone had any luck finding a CPR course?
  2. I am guessing but I tend to believe there were less applicants, just do to moving the app deadline up and the number of posters here compared to previous years.
  3. I'm in Gainesville, it comes in a small letter sized envelope. So happy!
  4. Congrats again! This further confirms my expectation that the folks farther away from Gainesville will receive their letters before those of us in town. Kinda cruel!!! But yay Nette!
  5. Alright Nette! Are you in town?
  6. Leave it to my gumshoe wife but she called CON today and they told her that decisions went out on Friday.
  7. No letter for me and I am in Gainesville.
  8. What did the package look like?
  9. When you applied you needed your UF ID. With the UF ID you can create the Gatorlink Username and password which will get you into ISIS. Also I called UF admissions and have been in touch with the CON to ensure that they had all of my materials.
  10. I agree, it seems like other non UF students would have changes in their ISIS because this is UF's first record of us. Former UF students having their old degree audit info in ISIS also makes sense to enable them to request transcripts. Since they are still in class current UF students maintaining their status quo also makes sense. I think we are all just getting a little anxious for decisions!
  11. Is that new for you? If I recall you are not a current UF student. I have a feeling that may be the reason. Do any non UF students NOT have that message? If we knew that, that would tell us something.
  12. I don't have a registration date assigned, but I guess it's because I am not a current UF student
  13. Trinity are you a UF student?
  14. nettegator, my registration prep screens are identical to yours, I'm not a UF student either. On my holds screen it only says that I may not register until I meet the immunization requirement, do you see that as well? My degree audit says "UF FA-UND 2013." No idea what that means.
  15. I haven't received an email like you are talking about, but I also am not a UF student.
  16. The writing portion was optional, at least that it what it says on their website. I did not do it and have not been told by the CON that there is any problem. Sounds like you are in a good position to me! I am fully expecting to hear something soon!
  17. Thanks J, when did you last talk to him?
  18. Has anyone talked to the CON and confirmed that our decisions will be out at the end of the month? I was just wondering if anyone had any updates from Ken or any of the other staff. Last year there were many delays, they were supposed to hear at the end of February and did not get final word until April.
  19. So I was doing some of my own research using this blog just for my own edification. Obviously everyone really wants to know what the average GPA, pre req GPA, and GRE scores of those applicants that were admitted to the program. Since the CON would never share these measureables, I compiled my own using this site. I thought that I would share what I found out. I averaged the 2011 and 2012 scores reported by those who posted that they were accepted to the UF ABSN programs. Obviously not everyone who posted their acceptance reported their scores, and I sure that some who posted their scores were not completely truthful. But with what I had to work with I was able to come up with the following: Avg GPA: (I averaged the overall, masters level, or upper division GPA that was provided; I took which ever was higher) 3.67 Pre req GPA: 3.7 GRE: 152V 153Q Obviously I know that this is subject to change from year to year, but it is still well above the admission requirements posted on the CON website. I also think that there may be less applicants this year since the CON moved the application deadline up from February to December. Take it for what its worth.... I hope we hear something soon! (sorry for my grammer docosa and sorry for more stats talk spkgator....I am a stats guy!)
  20. One thing that I noticed today was that the regular (non accelerated) BSN application deadline is March 1st for fall of 2013. This may just be my runaway deductive reasoning. Logic tells me however that the CON is trying to have our decisions out before the traditional program deadline so that they are not inundated. If this is the case then I feel more confident that our decisions will come sooner rather than later. Last year's class had to wait more than a month longer than they anticipated for decisions, hopefully we all can avoid that!
  21. If it is the same as last year, they will let us know by mail.
