Anyone know of what course would be accepted for abnormal psych? I emailed the main contact person, and she said that the LSU distance course was not accepted. I'd really like to get it out of the way before the semester starts!

Do y'all think there was any rhyme or reason in the distribution of interview dates? Also, how'd it go to those who interviewed already? Fingers crossed for all of us!

I did just get a call on Monday! My interview is March 16th. I'd also be interested if anyone captured those directions...something about it being on the 4th floor but needing to use the third floor due to construction? I think?

Anyone else applied to LSU's accelerated program for 2013? The silence is killing me!

@Annie, let me know what you find out in terms of doing a phone/Skype interview. I'd love to go check everything out at Duke, but I'm also not sure if I can round up enough money for the plane tickets either. Things are seriously tight right now.

New to the thread here. I got an interview invite too - so excited! Not sure about the alphabet theory though...my last name starts with R, and I got mine at 7:47. Eeek, I'm nervous about being able to afford to go/not sure if I'll be allowed a day off work as I'm out sick with the flu right now. Does anyone know if they make allowances for these situations?

Hey y'all, I'm new to the boards, but have been a long-time lurker. I'm lesbian identified and am looking to start an accelerated BSN program next summer or fall. I can relocate to anywhere in the US, but a primary concern of mine is for my accelerated program to be in a city which is very GLBT friendly. I'm hoping for there to be GLBT bar/clubs or at least a monthly GLBT dance night, an attitude of openness, and no feelings of fear to hold hands in public. Thanks a bunch, and please let me know if you have any suggestions!
