  1. Hi, and congrats on passing the PCCN. Did you take the practice test from AACN?
  2. Oh, ok. I am currently in the reserve but I was active from 2003 to 2010. My package is with the recruiter.
  3. vym222, I am prior corpsman also, how long were u in?
  4. I do hear that it is harder for new grads but not impossible. If the navy needs positions to be filled this fiscal year then they will fill them. Almost all the DA from last year that got accepted were new grads according to my recruiter so there is hope. I am happy the captain give u high score and don't let him discourage u, he doesn't really know what the Big Navy is looking for this fiscal year unless he will be on those boards.
  5. I am a new grad. i turned the package a week ago. i don't know if it is board ready yet, but recruiter send it for signatures
  6. guelrn, I did finish everything and I have submitted it. Just waiting for the numbers to come out.
  7. it is hard to get ICU as a new grad but I got a PCU position and hopefully ill work in ICU soon.
  8. She still does not know and because of military cuts it may be a small number
  9. I am a new grad. My recruiter have been great. She is optimistic about my chances as well because I am prior military and I am still affiliated through the reserve. I am not to confident about that either. Good luck to you too
  10. GuelnRN, It is my first time also. I am just worried about how many spot they will have available
  11. GulelnRN, Is this the first time u applying?
  12. To: love2013 I am from VA and working with a recruiter from Norfolk also.
  13. I put in my package this november and I graduate in may 2013. This program sounds very challenging to get into. My recruiter told me that GPA is very important, 3.5 is competitive. I have allot of work to do
