The only jobs I've ever had in the past were computer / call center positions that required I sit down 8 hrs a day. I'm 30 years old now without having ever stepped into a hospital. If the ADN program starts next March, what are some good things I should do to prepare? Also, what materials do you usually bring to class?

Question in the title, I'm wondering if anyone can break down what they do there in a typical day of work.

Up until now in college I've only completed AP I & II, Microbiology, Chem, and Biology. I've done a few labs in those courses but never a clinical for them. My question is what it takes to pass the clinicals I hear everyone talking about. Do they give you a sheet of paper with instructions on it?
