I already had a job and moved for the job at Mission. I'm not sure how much my relocation expenses have cost so far but it's been pricey. The drive, staying in a hotel for a week, not to mention the cost of making the trip up here to interview for the job. I just moved myself...I can't imagine the cost of moving a family! I called HR yesterday but haven't heard anything back. I figured they would talk about it when I signed my papers, got my badge etc, which is what my old hospital did. Hopefully, I'll find out more today. It's been tough!

Who do I talk to about relocation expenses? The HR coordinator? I've never had to ask about it before. I hope it's not too late!

I haven't gotten my orientation schedule yet but she did say hospital orientation would be all day Monday-Friday. I'm going to have to buy some clothes for that! I'm a scrubs and jeans kind of girl! I'll be on nights but the director told me I would orient on days then move to nights.

I go September 24th. I still have to give my two weeks at my work so I'm glad they had another opening at that time.

Scheduled my date today!!! I'm beyond excited. Good luck with orientation!!

Well, I got a call...missed it...called back twice...still don't know when my orientation date is! Ha. I hope they call back again today. My life has been in quite the holding pattern the past 3 weeks. Any idea if they only have orientation every 4-6 weeks like you thought? I hope not.

Crazier: I spoke with HR today and they told me they were just waiting on references to schedule my orientation date. I followed up with 3 of my references and had them re-send the survey that was e-mailed to them. I'm not sure if this information helps in your case or not. Good luck!

Hi!! Congratulations on your offer! I am not sure of my orientation date. Can I ask how long it took for your background check to go through? It's been two weeks since I accepted the offer and I'm getting a bit anxious! I know there's nothing to be concerned about on my background check, just have a lot up in the air and need to get my apartment rented here! When's your date? Are you also in the NICU?
