Hi! Congrats on the interview!! I think the interviews vary depending on the department.. I did wear scrubs as they told me to.. First I met with the recruiter at DUH. Then she took me to the unit to shadow for two hours with a nurse. That was really neat because you can ask them anything/everything you wanted to know about the unit and get their honest opinion. After the two hours were over I met with the nurse manager. Our interview was very much behavioral and she asked me a lot of questions along the line of "tell me a time when.." So be prepared to answer with specific examples.. I found it slightly challenging.. but everyone there really likes their job and you can tell.. I wouldnt get too nervous about it- it's a relaxed atmosphere and they just want to see if you are a good fit for the position as well as the position is a good fit for you! In my case, it took them about a week to let us know the results!! Good Luck!! Let me know if I can answer any more questions!

Hi! I am shadowing/interviewing for the SNIP program on the pediatric unit and the recruiter also told me to wear scrubs. So although I may feel pretty unprofessional going into the interview, I'm going to wear them. Also, from reading previous posts on this thread I believe its appropriate to wear scrubs! Good luck!!
