I was originally from California before I got accepted into the nursing program. I applied about 10 different schools in California and other states. My grade was 3.8 and was still having such a difficult time entering the program. I was rejected so many times not because of my grade but because the program is compacted. I'm sure you have experienced by now that majority of the schools especially community colleges are lottery programs. I was desperate getting in the program that my plan C was to even apply out of country. Fortunately I finally got accepted in Nevada and graduated in the beginning of 2008. I guess my advise to you is that apply to as many schools as you can and don't give up. You have to have plan B or C. Research other schools and maybe consider private schools or out of state. I wish you luck!
