  1. I totally understand how you feel. I am in an LPN program now and it's been 2 and a half months since we started and lately I have been wanting to throw the til in, but I'm not. Nursing school is truly like no other, but you can do and I'm going to do it too. There are some subjects that going to be like a foreign language to you and I know because some are like that too me, but the good things is they all tie together as you go along and that's what helps you understand it better. Don't give just get motivated to finish!!!! I was reading someone else's respond to your post and they said something that helped me which was do more questions nclex style and it will help you with your test questions when you have to choose what the answer is based on what the question is asking. I need to work on more questions then I will stop second guessing myself so much. I wish you the best and let me know if there's anything I can help contribute to your success!!!!
  2. I am so excited to start this journey and focus only on school. I have well hydrated myself because it's super hot here, deleted my FB account, rested well all summer to prepare myself for success and complete these 11 months. I am no longer nervous this morning, but very confident as if these months are going to roll by and I will do fine as long as I study and prepare myself. Well time to get up be blessed everyone!!!! ~Destined for Success~
  3. Congrads to everyone getting ready to start and finish!! I am getting ready to start nursing school for LPN on the 14th of August in Mississippi!!! I am so excited!! I got a few tips that I got from a student she said take GOOD notes, get a tape recorder, organize your binder, and study 3-4 hours each day after class and get a good nights rest. If you're able to study and focus when you get out of class then do so and that way you can rest properly through the night. You can listen to your recording in the morning on the way to class and when you get out you can right the notes from your recording. I wish everyone the best and I can't wait to start and I can't wait to graduate too July 2013!!!!!
