  1. Would handbook from the 1990s still be helpfu? I mean some practices r still the same and physiology I really want the kathy white book but its so expensive! Ive been working in an Icu that handles medical, surgical, neurointensive and cardiac intensive pts. Ive worked here for a yr with only 5mo previous exp on a med-surg. Newer nurse looking for more resources..i would really like to find help on ecgs that goes beyond just the basic and to learn more on pacemakers and temp pacing. Help me! I wk in a facility that eats their young, criticizes u and lets u drown. I just want to learn more and become a better nurse! When i do ask questions i get very limited answers. But i love critical care! I wouldnt want to wk anywhere else..just need a couple of books!
