  1. I agree. My professor wants it done by Wednesday! Ugh....
  2. Hello all, I am a nursing student (ADN-BSN) at Anna Maria College. I am enrolled in a Nursing History class. I have been asked to interview an RN who graduated a Nursing Program in the 1960's. If anyone is willing to answer the following questions, I would be most appreciative. In addition, if you graduated from a program outside of the United States in the 1960's, your input would be greatly appreciated also. Here are the questions: academic courses (list of major courses in their curriculum) clinical experiences (setting, # hours worked as a "student nurse") length of nursing program (years& months) degree or diploma setting of program (college, school of nursing, day or residential program) profile of a typical student ( age, gender, race, ethnicity) profile of a typical Instructor/Professor cost of tuition uniforms Any information you could provide would be great! Thank you in advance for your help! Mary

Could anyone provide me with information on this community? I am interested in relocating and working in Houston in critical care at a major medical center. How is the commute to Houston? ( I am a night nurse so hopefully will traveling opposite the worst of it!) I am an experienced ICU nurse. What is the payscale like? How is the weather? Any info is appreciated!
  4. [ Oh my gosh it is so huge I wouldn't even know where to begin. We are in the far West Valley (Surprise). My dd goes to a charter school though because I hate the school district. But I love the area. It is still semi-rural but there are two hospitals within 15 mins drive and many more accessible with 45 mins. My sister lives in Fountain Hills and thinks it is quite nice. More of a desert landscape there, whereas ours is quite green. She is in the far East Valley. To give you an idea of the distance we are at least an hour away from each other. Great info! I looked at the website for Surprise and it seems like a city more than a semi-rural area. Am I right? Are there any teaching hospitals in the area? I am in Mass working in the Medical ICR at a large university hospital. My pay is great (with night diff in the $42/hr range) as I am in a union hospital. Cost of living in Mass is great also and know I can make a killing if we sell our house and buy something there like you got...houses look awesome! So, could you offer any info on the city of Surprise and pay scales? Thanks so much...
