  1. Thank you everyone for the encouraging words! I know this is the right path for me, I found out today I only have 2 prereqs required (difference between where I used to live and took my prereqs before and where I live now) so I've enrolled in those 2 classes, and have signed up for the mandatory info meeting to apply for the program beginning next year! Time to just dive straight in :)
  2. Hi all! I recently finished my CNA, as recommended by most of my friends in nursing programs to get my CNA first, however I'm going thru a divorce and living on my own with a 2.5 year old on a CNA salary in Washington state just isn't cutting it for me. It's been my goal to pursue a career as a RN but I can't dedicate to it full time for 2 years yet. So I've been looking into the LPN program at my community college, which also feels like its going to require a lot of time. I guess I'm looking for some advice/support from other single moms that this is doable to pursue this dream of mine while working and supporting my son. How did you guys accomplish this goal?
