Hi caramel02, wow you're so lucky to receive your CoS immediately. I don't know what happened in mine why it is taking so long. I will discuss it with my agency again. Also I do not need to do any medical or TB testing as I am not residing in the Philippines. I am living here in the UAE and applicants coming from here are not required to undergo any TB tests or medical.

Hi guys, anyone here who got their DLs last August and still waiting for their CoS? I received my DL last August 23 and it's already on the 2nd week of October but I still haven't got my COS. I checked with my agency and according to them there is delay from the UKVI side. It's been more than a month now and I'm still waiting. I need to apply for a visa before the month ends.

Thank you JJ1005!! I was put on the re-assessment queue last August 9 and now August 23 I received my DL so it took 15 days. They asked me to submit a letter from DHA (Dubai Health Authority) clarifying my date of registration

Finall after a long wait, I received my DL !!!

My anxiety is getting higher and higher... Still no response from the NMC even though I am just in a re-assessment. Anyone here who is bound for WEST HERTFORDSHIRE NHS TRUST?

Hi @JJ1005 I didn't receive any email from NMC about my assessor. I am currently based here in Dubai, UAE. Here is my timeline: October 29- Passed IELTS UKVI March 14- Passed CBT May 17- Put on NMC assessment queue July- NMC asked for additional requirement August 9- Re entered the assessment queue

@JJ1005 How did you know who your assessor is? I've been sending emails to NMC asking who is the one handling my application so I can contact them directly but they are not telling me. They just keep on telling me to wait maximum 70 days. I don't even know which person I can directly follow up.

Hello again, I would like to ask if there is anyone here who were initially put on queue but NMC asked for additional requirements? Upon completing the additional requirements and been put on queue once again, did you wait for another 70 days? I've been asked for additional documents by the NMC and I re-entered the assessment queue last August 9. My first assessment queue was on May 17. I don't know how long will I wait for the re-assessment. Thank you

Hello again, So I already sent the additional requirements that the NMC asked but it's been already a week since they receive the document and until now it is not showing on my online portal. How long will it take for them to update my portal so my application can go back to the assessment queue?

Hello again, I posted a comment here before regarding my DHA letter that the NMC is asking. Fortunately, they gave me the letter and I mailed it back to NMC. I'm expecting it to reach the NMC by next week. Once they receive it, should I wait another 60 days for the re assessment? Because in the case of my friend, NMC asked additional requirements for him and once he sent it back and the NMC received it, he got his DL the next day.

Anyone here coming from Dubai? I need help! I receive a feedback from NMC regarding my DHA registration because they found some discrepancy with my registration date. In my good standing, it was stated that I am registered on August 2014 however when it was verified online, the date shown was August 2013 which was impossible because I am not yet taking my DHA exam at that time. I went to DHA office and asked for an explanation/confirmation letter that NMC was requiring to clarify the correct date of my registration. However, according to them they cannot issue the said letter and said to just disregard what is shown in the online verification and just follow what was stated on my good standing. How can I proceed to my NMC if they will not issue the letter that the NMC is requiring? Someone help me. Thank you.

I got a reply after 52 days but unfortunately, they are requiring additional information from the Dubai Health Authority since they found some discrepancy with my registration date. I went to the DHA but they are not really cooperative about it and I am very worried that I may not have the DL that I've been waiting for.

Hi, I'm Ghing, 22, working as a staff nurse in Dubai, UAE for 2 years now. Since I am seeking greener pastures in other countries, I tried applying for several nursing jobs in the UK. Luckily, one agency noticed my CV and was referred to a hospital in Norwich, Norfolk, UK. I did a skype interview with the hospital staff and to my surprise, I was chosen! Now, they sent me the conditional job offer and since I don't have an NMC registration as of now, I belong to the category of Pre-Registered Nurse in a Band 4 Salary and will be promoted to Band 5 once I'm registered to the NMC. Now, after reading news, forums and articles about nursing life in the UK, it is mentioned that there are new rules regarding nurses. Is it true that after 5-6 years working in the UK and your salary will not reach £35,000 then you are no longer allowed to stay in the UK? I've been wanting to reside in UK for a long time until I am eligible to apply for citizenship but given the circumstance, I might not be able to achieve it. Also, does the BREXIT affect the status of overseas nurses in the UK ? Will it be a threat to the comfortable life that they are dreaming of? Please enlighten me as I need to respond to my job offer. Should I accept it or not?

First, I am a Batch 2013 Registered Nurse in the Philippines and I got 1 year experience in a small local hospital. I am 22 years old and currently, I am residing in Dubai, UAE and also working for almost 2 years as a Registered Nurse in a known hospital. I have relatives in Texas, USA and they want me to take NCLEX exams here in Dubai. But I don't know the requirements and the step by step procedures. I read the requirements on the Texas BON website but it is a bit confusing on my part. Any suggestions? Thank you very much.

I am a 4th year nursing student at a certain college in the Philippines. Only one semester left and hopefully I will be able to graduate together with my friends. But recently, I am experiencing doubts about myself. Am I going to graduate and pass the board exam? Is nursing really meant for me? I have those questions floating in my mind. I am having study issues and I am having a hard time dealing with that. I am just an average type of student but I have lots of insecurities with regards to my studies. Recently, I am constantly losing focus on studying. It seems that I am having short term memory loss but I am not sure of that because I kept on forgetting each and every lesson! I cannot remember the things that I used to know and I am alarmed. I am afraid that I might fail in the board exam if I cannot remember the lessons being taught. Because of that, I keep on receiving "not-so-good" grades and that makes me depressed. Things are getting more tougher to me. Recently, my classmates are comparing me to my ex-boyfriend because my ex-boyfriend is getting high grades compared to me. I am such in a depressed state and I keep on telling myself "can I surpass their expectations of me? can I surpass my ex-boyfriend's grades? what will happen to me if I fail my term exams?" Right now, I am starting my research study and it is a very difficult task to do. I am afraid that I won't be able to finish my thesis and fail my subjects. I have lots of doubts in my mind. I hope someone can give me some advice on how to improve myself, how to excel in studies and to have higher grades because I am depressed over these matters.
