  1. I Just finished the HOAE test at Mohawk on July 19th. Ive already received my test scores back, and seeing what 'starfish' has, I'm now quite concerned. I have a 90% average in all my courses, and I took the pre-health program at Mohawk. In my opinion the HOAE is unfair. EVERYONE has a different way of learning and doing things. I personally, take my time. I like to make sure Ive done things correctly. wouldn't that be important in Nursing? so of course, I took my time on the HOAE test, and I did get all the questions correct, BUT, I didn't answer all the questions. Its wonderful that there are those who can fly through tests or material quickly and do a great job, but it should be equally fair that there are those of us who take our time and equally do a great job. my test scores were: Academic Aptitude- 23 Natural Sciences- 20 reading comprehension-16 Spelling-26 Vocational-57 YIKES!! So I'll be lucky if I get in with those scores, despite my marks I worked so hard for. I've applied for January intake, so this will be quite the nerve racking wait.
