  1. Nails short and clean. No alternatives No excuses No bacteria No problem. You wanna be a nurse? End of story! Dont misunderstand, I think long nails can be very attractive, just not on someone about to change a dressing on my surgery wound, ulcer dressing and god forbid pubic shave :) x x x
  2. JUst to play devils advocate a little Who's to say this woman won't live to be a highly active octogenarian who may well live into her late ninties and early hundreds? We're health care professionals who's DUTY it is to preserve life and encourage healthy living. So why are we killing this woman off so flippantly? Where's your optimism guys? A new member of the human race just said hello. Let's just say hello back and welcome! It's not our place to judge. simply to treat illness and enhance life Isn't it?
  3. If the states works the same way as the UK you'll probably find they have an internal candidate in mind for the job. I know it's ****** but she didn't ned to say what she said. Just rememeber that our work can be quite thankless at times and for my part I only do it at all for the times when I can hold my head up and say I did well there! Remember when you saved a life? Remember when you listened and made a difference? In an interview situation that should be the whole world but most managers have no ****ing clue! My last manager came to healthcare from a supermarket chain Have faith in yourself. you'll find your sphere of excellence.
