  1. hi everyone, i'm new in this site and as i was reading threads and posts here, i thought you guys might have a say on my present situation too :) I've had experience in a hospital setting locally(philippines) more than three years in NICU-nursery 3months after i passed the local board exam ..Then, i was given a chance to work abroad i grabbed it thinking it would give me a career growth. But to my surprise i was placed in a nursery unit due to lack of experience as the agency told me. i tried to finish my 2years contract and since I'm not happy with my environment i did not sign a recontract. i felt i had enough experience..then came days weeks and months with personal reasons i have to turn down offers to that same country because i would want a different level of nursing career on a different country. to be honest i tried onlince teaching so as to suffice my work gap. To cut the story short am now wanting to get back to hospital but whenever i came across an offer i would love to get, they would notice my work gap. They even adviced me to get a local experience once again. Now i'm thinking should I pursue applying local hospital setting or should i grab even clinic or nursing home care abroad???I'm just eager to learn more than just neonatal and be able to practice my nursing skills and at the same time update my knowledge. I felt like for almost 6 years i became complacent. Hope you could help me decide on this thank you and more power to all of us :)
