I took my boards on Thursday (this week) and passed. I feel the best things are either Saunders or Lippincott's I used both!!!!!! Just start to study soon, as it is very helpful! You can take from 85-205 questions on the PN boards...I took 205, and just remember, ABC's Michelle

I am shocked suprised and SO EXCITED!!! I PASSED NCLEX!! Just got the results via the 900 number an hour ago!! WHOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Just remember no matter how many questions you get, doesnt matter! (I took all 205) WHOOHOOO Thank you to all of you that tried to keep me sane! Michelle

I took mine today, got 2 of those questions, NO drug calculations, like 1 or 2 med questions, nothing was about disease process all managment questions Pt teaching and planning which you would THINK was simple but I just feel horrible and have started to study again...I took the PN and took all 205 DEADLY QUESTIONS I am not going to find results out until they mail them (ha ha) Too nervous..feel that everything has went down the tubes

Well I did it, I sat there almost 3 hours and took ALL 205 questions, I felt good going in, and very dissapointed and worried leaving..Just scared cuz I took EACH ONE! Well all I can say is I am studying for it in 45 days lol I had 2 of the new type of questions, NO DRUG CALCULATIONS (which I was begging for at my 155 question) No disease processes nothing-all managment type questions, and a lot of planning, teaching which still didnt feel great about.... A friend of mine did the same, she stopped 3 days before and just reviewed-I am just so nervous, dont think that I studied at ALL enough..and I am not doing good on the practice tests, if I take 10 questions at a time I do WONDERFUL same with 20 even, but if I do over 50 whoot I am doing awful-I am not sure why, I think I am neverous, stressed, and will take your idea-I guess the worse thing is taking it more than once then that is okay with me-it shouldt be this stressful! thanks, still hve tears, michelle

I am doing the Lippincott's Review tonight and I keep setting the # of questions to like 20-I cannot stand taking ALL of them UGH! Saunders HA-I do real good on that one about 50% lol it is just AWFUL-I want to puke

You know, my weaknesses are EVERYTHING......lol...the few things I thought I was really bad at, are my strengths, which is BEYOND me! Pharmacology is REALLY ROUGH, especially since I took it VERY long ago...in like 2003 summer of that is...but somehow I can break it down to the right 2 choices, but the best one-that is the grace of the Nursing Gods! lol....If you need to chat, I am here...I am away from ALL of my fellow classmates whom have already taken the test w/ flying colors so I feel stranded......Good Luck to you..I am cheering for ya!

Well I have 3 books, have not found the incredibly...one..I am 1000 miles from all of my classmates, and sure they do not have it-I moved after graduation-anyways I have Saunders, which I do not do too well on, then Lippincotts and Chicago one..All I can do is keep practicing, I did well in school, I want to believe it is all just ANXIETY FEAR! But who knows, just feel if I knew what to expect..then I would feel better! lol Tahnks for your input! Michelle

Is it true that you can study too much? I have tried everything, just need some encouragement. I graduted late August, our school was late getting info to the MO state board, therefore I moved, started working (non-nursing) so I could study, I kind of put things off but for the last week(s) I have studied a lot more, I test on Thursday the 20th, and I am scared, I keep doing horrible on the Saunders practice quizzes, studying questions and exam,...I am starting to think I need to go to school again - lol A lot of my fellow classmates have taken boards and passed, most only taking 85 questions (as this is for PN)...I did well in school, just need help, advice, anything to make it. I try to study atleast 5 or 6 hours a day, still doing not so great-get 1/2 of the questions right, sometimes more sometimes less...ANY help would do me great! Thanks you-Chelle

I am taking the Nclex-PN on this comming Thursday...It has been a VERY long time since school (not to vent but our lovely program totally screwed up or information for State boards)....I have been studying Saunders-as Kaplan doesnt offer anything for the PN...I feel that I am doing awful, I keep getting 50-60% of the questions right, I feel I need to just go back to school and that I cannot move ahead...In school I got straight A's and B's and now I cannot even tell you what Guillain-Barre's Syndrome is...HELP! I just need something, I have tried studying, then the tests over and over, it is like I have forgotten it all....... In tears in Texas -Chelle

I am taking mine the 20th (Nclex PN)...Our school screwed up a lot of paperwork so it has been MONTHS since i have been in school-I am sooooo scared, I feel I dont remember anything, not doing good on the practice exams Just afraid-any advice what to do will help-Thanks
