Where do i start?
I want to do the working holiday visa in NZ. Ive passed my IELTS, have two years experience, and am starting my schooling for emergency nursing in sept. Where do i even start? Do i apply for the lisence and get a temp job with a staffing company then apply for my visa? Ill get the visa easily its the getting a job part that worries me. Ideally id like to become a resident in NZ as an end goal. Has anyone got any ideas or know any good sites, or travel companies that are good that can help me out Cheers!

Cv templates/sites/examples
Okay good to know. So is it easier to apply to the website? I know here at home it's all "who you know" and applying from outside the network is virtually impossible to get anywhere. Any advice there? Also I still need a cv example. Mines completely out of date and I have no idea if they are different in the uk then canada. Thanks guys

Cv templates/sites/examples
Hi there, just wondering if anyone has any fool proof templates or websites that have examples of cv's used in the uk. I'll be applying for a job there soon. Any advice on how to go about it? Should I use a travel agency or walk into hospitals and introduce myself. I know it's all who you know. My resume isn't terribly impressive and I have no specialty yet so any helpful tips and tricks are welcome! cheers

Another question, how long can i have a license with the NMC and NOT practice. Like what if i get it and cant find a job, but maybe think of going over in a couple of years. What are the requirements of holding the license without practicing?

Thanks Silverdragon. Do you know if you can start applying before your one year experience? I started work in May 12, can i start applying in Jan? or does it have to be in May? Also what is the 1500 of "clinical hours" is it what i had to do as practicums in school? Thanks again!

I have been looking to work with this company to. Do let us know how it goes! I think, coming from Canada that i would be taking a pay cut. How does it work for them setting you up with a job?Do you just finish the ONP, and then after the NMC says your good, they give you an assignment? The lady from the company tried to tell me that London was cheaper to live in than most cities, having been there and to quite a few other countries, i thought she was from another planet! Nevertheless, they are pretty helpful thus far. Do you have to pay them anything, or they just pay you less than the NHS and the NHS pays them. lol, sorry so many questions. But if anyone has answers that would be great! How long was your whole process from start to finish?

Easiest state to switch licenses between and to stay licensed.
Hello my Fellow Americans! Need your advice please! Im a canadian nurse, JUST passed my nursing exam yesterday, and now id like to do the NCLEX. I have to register with a state before i do, Which one is the cheapest, easiest to stay licensed in AND more importantly which one is the easiest to get licensed to other states. Like once i have it in one state i can transfer to another one. For right now im def getting my experience here, i just thought while everything was fresh that id try my hand at the NLCEX that way if i ever want, i can have that option open. Any advice would help! Thanks
