  1. Hi, everyone, I need some suggestions. My F1 visa is going to expire soon (early next year). The original visa that I received was for 5 yrs, and I applied for another one (renew) 5 yrs ago. I have graduated from a 2 yr college on my second visa extention. During that time, I was waitting to be accepted into nursing program. I finally got into a nursing program for the fall session, but I am worried that my soon-to-be-expired F1 Visa will be a problem in the future. I am now back in my country. I am thinking to renew the visa again and hope they will give me another extention. I am worried that they might denied my visa since I am going for another 2 yr college not a 4 yr college. I know that the majors are differnt, but I am not sure how they will react to my situation since they already gave me 2 5-yr extention. If I do not renew my visa, will this become a problem after I graduate from nursing program? Will I still be able to apply for OPT or even find a job at the hospital (once the retrogression is overed) with my expired F1 visa? Should I risk my chance to apply for the visa again? Thank you so much for your time........ Wish you all the best......
  2. Hi, Ivnblue, thx!!! :balloons:I was lucky enough to be picked through lottery system at GWC. Before you make it to the pool, you need to make sure that you have everything they look for. I had As in science/English, but I think that you will need at least 2.0 GPA in science to make it to the pool. Make sure you attend their orientation seminar before applying. You will get lots of information. By the way, what are the reasons you want to apply GWC? Good Luck with everything!!!!!
  3. Thanks a lot for your posts. I will be moving to CA from NJ so location is not going to be a problem to me. I still cannot decide which school I want to go. Can someone help me?????

  7. Hi, everyone..... i recently contacted some 2 years colleges for RN program around central Jersey......found out that many colleges have waitting lists. however, i am hoping to get into the Fall,2005 and starting my RN program. i found out that most of RN programs' deadline is around March....however.....i am not sure if i should apply for admission first? or i can apply the RN program at the same time? i know that i may be late for this.....i am hoping to do whatever it takes to get into RN program this year..... any suggestions??? some people even told me to go to NY for RN program.....(they said that some schools at NY do not have any waitting list for their nursing program) does any of you by any chance know any school that may not have any waitting list? or is there anything i can do to help myself get into the RN program as soon as possible???? i understand that these questions may sound kind of stupid.....i am very lost here with all the information...i am having hard time knowing what i should do at this moment........... thank you all for your time........ wish you the best....................
