    I am considering HHC; worked in hospital med/surg and then ambulatory student health. I am scared, but also curious. but my question is: if per diem HHC RNs are paid per cases, how do you calculate the hours? At interview, they would tell me that their RNs work on average 20-25 hours...but it never occured to me why they were counting hours, when actually paying by cases? Does anyone know what I am mean? thanks
