I am struggling with the decision on which Master's degree I should go back to get. I have the goal to work in administration and not necessarily directly as a nurse manager. My future goals I plan to stay in the admin/executive role. I believe both of these programs will give me tools I can use but there is a significant cost difference in the programs. Does anyone have any experience with either and how you are using them in your career?

I went today and picked up my packet as well! I go to my primary care MD on Monday to have the physical (for the sheet the MD has to fill out) and all my titers drawn. I also need to work on getting my uniforms ordered and my background check done! I am trying to decide what I am going to do about work. I know that it will be hard to work nand do the program, but it is going to be very difficult for my husband and I to be financially stable if I leave work right now. I think I may go part time at work for the first semester then leave my job completely. I have always had this issue which is why it is taking me so long to finish my degree because I have always had to work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Makes me nervous! I also look forward to meeting everyone!

I decided to attend....I am going today to.pick up my packet! I went yesterday afternoon but they weren't ready.

I will probably call them back tomorrow as I did not receive a return call today. On the NLNAC website they have Augusta Tech listed for canadicy for years 2001-2013 so I am assuming they will be reevluating them next spring. Also I spoke with Ms. Shine at Augusta Tech and she said that if they get their accreditation next evaluation then it will back date to when we start this fall. She also said it would not affect employment in GA or sitting to take boards, but I am just checking because the lady at ASU I may have a problem getting my license. I do not like hearing different things so that is why I called the BON...just waiting to hear back. Once I have an update I will post again;)

I was also accepted and glad to see others that have the same concerns as me. I have made calls to Augusta tech, Asu, and GHSU to ask questions about it. Asu said to make sure I will be able to get my license and waiting on a call back from GHSU. I also called the BON and waiting on a return call to make sure everything will go smooth for me to get my license. I plan on getting my BSN in the future so I wanna cover all my bases. Hopefully I will reach my decision in the next day or so! Congrats to all who got accepted and maybe I will see yall soon!
