  1. I got some white leather nurse mates.
  2. I agree and I think that is absolutely ridiculus.
  3. I'm glad you called Kasia, I guess I need to call Monday too! Lol! Darton seems so backwards to me...why would they write on the letter they are going to register us and its taking so long:-(
  4. I wonder why they register like 1-5 people a day??? Maybe they look through our background stuff...I don't know.
  5. I agree, I emailed Ms. Mitchell about the books and she said ebooks are not required anyway so I'm not getting them either. I feel as though they would be a waste of my money. I have my background check and stuff done too. I have all vaccines except my ppd. I'm getting it next week.
  6. Did you get your books from the bookstore and have you done your background check? And vaccine form?
  7. Has anyone been registered yet...The letter says not to worry about it because they will do it but I have not been registered for classes yet??
  8. Yayyyy! Congrats:)
  9. Hey ladies, I had to run errands after work...here is the scoop. White envelope...kinda thick. 4pgs acceptance, and other info re: class, and orientation info...hth and good luck to all those still waiting. Goodnight ladies.
  10. Thanks Bonnie! Yes, I applied for the Albany campus...I was at work when the letter came, my husband opened it for me. I'm almost home, will post details shortly.
  11. I'M IN! Go me, go me, GO ME!!!;-) THANK YOU LORD!
  12. Lol so we will know something by the end of the week! Yay...I think lol
  13. Which campus did you call??
  14. Wow that is great!! I'm nervous all over again!!
  15. I want to do ER OR ICU too...I work on a floor called TCC now. I used to work on a medical floor for 3yrs.
  16. Bonnie, yes all core is done. I just finished the core. I just took med term and human growth and dev this semester. That is awesome Medic...I took Micro at ABAC.
  17. I know what you mean Bonnie. When I finished school I wanted 1yr of expirence. Then started back and had to redo all of my core...then had my baby boy so I have been dragging school out this time. Are you done with all core classes?
  18. Aww lol yes I'm doing the bridge. What's everyones profession thusfar? I have been a LPN for 4yrs.
  19. I guess I am the only one who applied to the Albany campus:(
  20. Which campus did you apply to?
  21. When I was in nsg school for LPN, a friend of mine and I would study on campus btw class but we done most of our studying over the phone. After we read our chapters we would get on the phone and review the material we didn't understand, or something that stood out etc. It was very effective, we both graduated and passed the NCLEX the first try. I think being able to review info you read aloud helps to retain the info...too reviewing with someone else helps bc something they may have caught you may have missed...it's like reading with 4 eyes, just a thought tho:) Anywho, am I the only one on this thread waiting to hear from the Albany campus?
  22. Hello ladies, I live in Fitzgerald...still no news maybe Monday??
  23. A writing test...it was not required for nsg students at ABAC. I think they were trying to do away with it but I'm not sure.
  24. I pray we find out something by next week. Does Darton still require the Regents writing test?
  25. So for those of us still waiting, what are you doing in the mean time? Has anyone heard anything via mail or phone??
