How often will we have skill simulations?

you didn't have to wear it when you went to the clinical site to pick up your assignment? Our packet says that we wear it over our polo and khaki but never wear it when giving patient care. I wonder why not though. What is the point of getting it if you are not allow to get good use out of it, is what I am wondering

what about UF Health? Is that one of the clinical sites?

Sure! :) there is a study guide on dosage calulations in the acceptance packages thar will prepare us for that test. We will be tested on medical terminology as well but there is not study guide ob that so I will just review over A&P and try to find some websites that as a medical terminology review.

How much do the polo shirts cost?

Thank u for that info. Do u happen to know what is the biggest size that have? If I buy a shirt and can't fit it would I be able to take it back and get another size. Btw the packet says it must be purchased at the campus book store. Is that where u all got yours?

I was doing the EXACT same thing! I could not believe what I was reading. :) I was studying hard for the HESI too. I am going to continue to review over the basics of A&P b.c. I took it in the beginning of 2012 and I forgot alot of the material. Also I will be looking over the pharmocology and Nursing techniques notes I received from a friend. If anyone would like for me to send it to u let me know. if I do not already have your email make sure u give it to me and It will be my pleasure to share it with you. :)

Congratulations to everyone who got in! We did it!! Before we know it we will be graduating and you be Rns. I ak soo glad I do not have to worry about taking the HESI!!! What a relief :)

I was unsure about it too at first. It means that we have to turn in proof that we completed the application for the drug screening by July 25th. The results of the drug test are not due until August 8th is how I understand it. I will be at the campus on Monday so I will go by the nursing dept.and ask about it to make sure that is correct.

I am not sure exactly what it was because when i had applied for the summer semester and did not get in i attended the information session. She gave me my application back and it showed that they gave me 3 extra points so instead of my score being 169.96, it was 172.96. So, i do not know if they added extra points to my score this time. If they didn't then my score for the fall application was 178.96.

I am not sure what my final score was exactly but I know it was in between 178 and 180 something. So, everyone who have a score of at least 180 something is in.

that is a great question that I unfortunately do not know the answer to.

I didn't think to ask if a chemistry with a lab is necessary but i am assuming that it is not required being that the application says that they will accept any college level chemistry. The only thing about chemistry she was unsure of is if they will count the 4 credit hour chemistry courses as it is or only 3 credit hours. As far as the life support, she did not understand my question so i do not know.
