  1. @ccguidry Thanks you =)
  2. @ futurelpn2012 Thank you =)
  3. @ Vnickor Thanks!
  4. @ skunkyflvcko I read and just did the questions within the section It seemed very overwhelming to read and do extra questions but that;s because I did the 6 week plan in 3 weeks. If you feel you need more questions that have a feature on the disc were you can do questions specific to the section your reviewing Just try not to overwhelm yourself because it makes it challenging to study the next day. I am sure you will do fine! Let me know if I can help! Thanks! I appreciate your post =)
  5. @ enjamn Thank you so much The only think I can thing of is depending on where you stay you can go to the secretary of state website and attempt to look up your license. It may say pending which mean they have not received your results or it will list active and your RN number. Try that and let me know if it works!!
  6. @ Possible78 Thank you so much. I believe you have the right approach. However, do not overwhelm yourself. Focus on one or the other and pace yourself. Kaplan is great if you just need a question bank. Saunders provides a guided study plan if you have the CD. The PDA book was helpful to my classmates if you want to look into it. I believe you have to read for understanding and do not get caught up with memorizing. You know the material you just have to know how to use it. Pace yourself and relax. You will be fine!
  7. @ cmbella19 Thank you so much! I wish your husband much success. I would advise him to pace himself. If he has the CD, take the assessment and follow the study calendar. I had to shorten it but if he has 6 weeks, that's even better. I would complete the comprehensive exam at least two days out. No matter what the score is - RELAX and do nothing the day before the exam =) Please share his good news =)
  8. @ caffeineaddict Thank you so much
  9. I am unable to send private messages so please send email with message if you would like me to respond
  10. @ tcstr05 I am not familiar with the PN but can't wait to hear the good news
  11. @tiyoung3 you will need to reapply.. there is a specific application on the website.. New background.. and re pay to actually take the exam.. your results will take about thirty days to receive but i didn't use them to prepare.. also take a break from studying for a week or so. I didn't start back studying until i received my ATT code. Let me know if you have any other questions
  12. Not a problem. If there is any way i can help please let me know
  13. Our stories are exactly the same.. your headed in the right direction... Your going to be fine.. I'm sure you will complete it in 75 questions.. be sure to share the good news.. I'm excited for you already :loveya:
  14. Thank you so much.. it's so exciting to start the next phase of life
  15. Thank you so much.. I'm so glad my story could help.. Don't allow anxiety to get the best of you.. Just take a deep breathe and continue.. you will be fine and i will be waiting to hear your success story

  18. I failed the test the first time. I believed it was the end of the world. I had just graduated and the weight of the world seemed to be on my shoulders. Instead of being realistic about needing a mental break, I took the test. After viewing my results, I could not believe what I saw. Studying became my priority and I was determined to stick to my 3 week study plan. I completed the Saunders assessment and used the 6 week study schedule. Each day I completed two days of the study plan. As I reviewed, I tried my best to stay encouraged and believe that what I was reading would make a difference. Unfortunately, once I completed the study schedule, as the test date vastly approached, I realized I scored worse on the final comprehensive assessment than the initial assessment. However, I didn't allow that to discourage me. The day before the test, I relaxed with my family and tried not to think about the exam. The next morning I arrived at the testing sight with deep breathing exercises in mind, I could not allow my nerves to get the best of me once again. And I PASSED! Within 78 questions, I became a registered nurse. I wrote this message to encourage anyone who feels that passing is not possible. Determination, discipline and a positive attitude goes a long way. I scheduled my test immediately after receiving my ATT. It seemed to soon but I did not want to put it off any longer. I took my exam six weeks after I graduated and failed. Although once I received my ATT, I studied for 3 weeks and PASSED! In the preparation the second time, relax and simply review. Saunders NCLEX book and CD was all I used the second time around. The first time I used the Kaplan review course (which didn't seem to help) and their test bank. If I can be of any assistance to anyone or if you just need a word of encouragement, feel free to write back or message me! I am praising GOD daily for I am a living testimony of HIS amazing works!
  19. I again want to thank everyone for their encouragement. I failed the test the first time and believed it was the end of the world. I had just graduated and the weight of the world seemed to be on my shoulders. Instead of being realistic about needing a mental break, I took the test and failed. After viewing my results, I could not believe what I saw. Studying became my new priority and I was determined to stick to my 3 week study plan. I completed the Saunders assessment and used the 6 week schedule but doubled two day schedule into one. As I reviewed I tried my best to stay encouraged and believe what I was reading would make a difference. Unfortunately once I completed the study schedule and the test date vastly approached, I realized I scored worse on the final comprehensive assessment than the initial assessment. Although I didn't allow that to weigh me down. The day before the test, I relaxed with my family and tried not to think about the exam. The next morning, I PASSED! Within 78 questions, I became a registered nurse. So again, I want to say thank you for the encouragement
  20. Thank you so much guys, for your words of encouragement. I am hibernating to study. Let you know how it does
  21. I thank every one for their testimony. I really appreciate the positive comments. The first time around I did over 2600 questions, I took the Kaplan review and studied everyday. Since my test date I took a break. But now that I have my authorization code I am studying again. I figured 3 weeks from now I would attempt again. I have the Saunders book which has content and questions. I look through the PDA but I am not sure it is helpful. So if anyone has material they can email me or any thoughts please share. I live in GA. Thanks again to everyone
  22. can anyone tell me what they did to pass the second time? Please provide any guidance. Would like to take it soon
