Hi @slong2- I just am not sure, to be honest. Every day I feel like I have made up my mind- I am going to DePaul- then I start thinking that maybe I will make it at rush after all. I havent heard that the list has moved at all since last time I called, but I am still so far down the list that I don't want to get my hopes up of coming off and then being really disappointed if I end up not making it off. I paid my deposit at DePaul, but right now I am leaning towards Rush because I really like the program and think that I will be better off there than at DePaul. Its a risk because I could lose my spot at DePaul and be stuck waiting until January but I right now it seems worth it to wait 4 extra months to go to a program I really like. What do you think?

So I called the nursing school today and asked about coming off the waitlist but they said they couldn't tell me one way or other because they will admit people up to the end of the first day of the orientation. The girl I talked to said they were still taking people off the list, so I guess theres still a chance but I think I might just go to DePaul after all since I already have a spot in the fall session. I don't want to have to rush around trying to get all my things in order if I do end up getting accepted at Rush and only have a few days... Good luck to everyone!

Congrats to everyone who has been accepted! :yelclap: I have been accepted at DePaul for their MENP starting this fall and I was also wait listed at Rush for the fall GEM program. I have an automatic acceptance for the January start date for Rush (which they call "spring" for some reason) if I don't come off the fall wait list. If I had my choice, I really want to go to the Rush program, but I am pretty high up on the ranked list (currently #17 after initially being around 35). Do I stand a chance of coming off the wait list in time for the fall program to start? The email I got a few weeks ago with my updated ranking at Rush said they take people from the list up to August 27th. Even though I already sent in a deposit for the January class I am now reconsidering because I do not want to wait until January to start so am considering just going to DePaul instead (unless I can get off the wait list). Anyone know if I have a chance of making it off the list in time for fall? Or do I just give up on Rush and go to DePaul instead? Thanks! Ellie
