123 views, but no advice? Please help!

Its the school I am worried about, I did poorly when I was in college so now I would have to start over at the beginning. Thats why I wanted to bride to RN then to a BSN. I know LVNs are being phased out and I am not planning on leaving my job anytime soon, but my student loans are going to be soo much when I am done with school that its giving me knots.

Hi. I signed up to go to Stanbridge College, a private technical school in Irvine, and I am really stressed about my decision. I am 26 years old and I haven't been in school since In over four years. However, that isn't what is stressing me out. I keep reading all of these threads about LVNs being phased out, unable to find employment, or wishing that they never went to school to be an LVN. The reason why I chose LVN school is to bridge to RN at a program here in California. I am worried that I am spending all of this money on tuition and school, only to end up not being able to find a job or bridge to being an RN. I have a good job already, thank God, but I work full-time. So my options for school are limited. I don't have the option to stop working or change my hours to part-time. So as far as programs, I pretty much am stuck with a private college. Its really stressing me out, to the point of tears. I need some encouragement or some advice.

I need help! I have spent a year researching part time VN programs in my area. I have narrowed it down to two schools in Orange County. My stress is coming from multiple angles > am i choosing the right path, the right school, how am I going to pay back student loans? I am already thinking about the VN to RN bridge program and how I can manage that while working full time. Please some advice, suggestions, or just encouragement?!!! I have spent the last two weeks thinking about nursing and student loans. Ugh!

Thank you for that. The reason why I chose Stanbridge is because of the atmosphere, but the posts I've read about the school are all old. I was hoping for input from newer students. CNI was my first choice because of their NCLEX passing rate. Both schools are in a fair distance from my home in N. OC, however they are really close to my work. I work full time, and can not afford to quit and work part time. Its not even an option for me. I want to be reassured that my decision is going to have the best outcome for me.

Hi, I have been researching Orange County VN programs for over one year. At this point I feel stuck between Stanbridge College in Irvine, and CNI in Orange. I feel so overwhelmed by the tuition. My availability does not allow me to attend a community college or an ROP program; i work full time. So I would love to hear from students about these schools to help me on my way to making the best decision for my future. Thank you!

hello! i have been researching nursing schools for lvn licensure, but there never seems to be enough information or reviews to form a permanent decision. i live in the orange county area, and i am leaning towards cni college to obtain my lvn education, and then pursuing my rn though a community college bridge program. it seems that the only schools to offer part time, nights and weekends, are the private institutions. they are really expensive, so i want to make sure that i am making the right investment in my future. ultimately i want to be working for a socal childrens hospital. can anyone provide any advice or tips that may help me out with this decision? im getting old, and i want to start on the right path :)
