  1. They do but I'm not sure how to find this type of article. I guess I will try my luck. Thought maybe someone might have a good article in mind :\
  2. I need to find a nice article on nursing and the patient experience. Needs to be something like a story of patient(s) lives being touched by a nurse, or some kind of literature regarding the holistic nature of the patient and on caring and how it's demonstrated. Does anyone have any ideas or leads where I can find article or two about this? I appreciate any help I can get! Thanks so much.
  3. Thanks! I tried searching Google and PubMed and can't find anything on gender performance on the NCLEX. At my nursing school males are performing worse than females on the NCLEX so that's why I'm trying to find some research that talks about it. What PubMed abstracts did you find?
  4. Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me with a paper I'm writing on NCLEX performance and gender. Is there any research out there on gender disparity in NCLEX performance. Do females tend to do better than males on the NCLEX? Any information or links to data or research would help me soooo much! Thanks!!
  5. Thanks for the thoughts, seems like no information is out yet from Pearson Vue in terms of closures tomorrow. The phone lines are not giving any helpful information. Can someone post here if they hear anything? I need to focus on last minute studying ugh :/
  6. That sucks! But I'll definitely be ready no matter what. I already packed a change of clothes so that when I get to the test center I can have comfortable, dry clothes to test in.
  7. Thanks so much! Knowing that will help me plan. If I don't get a call I'll assume it is not cancelled. I'm trying to get this test over with!!
  8. I'm as ready as I'm ever going to be and want to get it over with, I don't want to reschedule. Also if they cancel it I will have to reschedule anyway. But if I reschedule on my own now, I'll have to pay a fee...
  9. I test for NCLEX on Tuesday and it looks like an historic blizzard is forecasted to hit!! How do I find out if my NCLEX will be cancelled?! I don't want it to be! There's no phone number listed on my ticket to call, and I don't see any website to get weather related pearsonvue closings. I will show up for the text no matter what, but I would like to know where to check for weather closures. Please help!
  10. Something's up. The application portal is going to be down tomorrow: "Please excuse the inconvenience, but the site will be down for scheduled maintenance Saturday, July 28 from 8:00 AM to approximately 4:00 PM EDT. For more information or questions please contact the HRSA Call Center at 1-800-221-9393." There's a chance decisions may start going up soon. Maybe as soon as Monday, July 30th. In the past couple years, decisions through the application portal always start going out on a Monday. So I'm thinking if it's not this coming Monday, then probably Monday, August 6th.
