  1. Hey Kelli, Thank you for your useful advice, I swear I felt like I was reading about myself whIle reading your post. I read your other thread on Bloomsburg University 18 month class of 2017, I plan on applying in a year and half once my prerequisites are complete . I come from a non science background ; my BA degree is in International Studies with a concentration in development, I plan on using nursing to accomplish my goals to work in International Health. Starting from scratch from bio to anatomy and bichemistry is rough but I'm determined ! Thank you for your inspirational post. I wouldn't mind keeping in touch about the program and your progress in it. I can't message on here yet but please reach out to me !!??? Lol Best wishes to you all.
  2. Wow what a great post :) I too am interested in working abroad, my undergrad degree was in International Studies ;Concentration Development and Human Rights I also have a minor in French. I decided last year that an MPH would help me and that in the future I would def pursue it. I would love to do work in French speaking West Africa particularly with health and maybe sustainable development. Right now Im working as a CNA (something I never saw myself doing) but its quite rewarding and its got me interested in working a nurse with and MPH ( international health). My undergrad GPA was below a 3.0, (2.85) and there are times when I feel like I have a very SLIM chance of getting into any ABSN or MPH program. However I have not taken the GRE yet nor have I began to take any prerequisites, so maybe I do have a chance?? Any input??
