New in the ICU
I am very comfortable with the environment and people, as I have been a tech in the unit for 3 months. Which make me even more nervous because everyone has an extremely high expectation of me, I just hope I can meet them.

Thank you all for the advice. I try to exude confidence although I'm trembling on the inside. I'm trying to ask more questions. Never asked many in school, I just did the research on my own to figure things out. Work in progress.

NCSBN
I started with Hurst and realized I had to stop studying content cx there was no way I would remember it all. 4 days before my exam I did NCSBN and NCLEX Made Incredibly Easy questions 12 - 15 hrs/day. Good Luck. Remember to take your time, read the questions x 2, and deep breathe.

I'm starting in the cardiac ICU soon and I'm terrified. Any advice?

If your doing it for five your golden. I was so tired of studying my brain hurt!

NCSBN
I did it for 1 week. Best thing I could have ever done. I did all the questions. I already had content from Hurst. Anything I didn't know in a question I looked up.The questions are so similar to the real test! No other prep prepared me for how the questions were written. I'm glad I did it when I did.

Thanks, cx I feel confident and most of my mistakes are from rushing through the question. I feel like when I go slower and actually take my time to analyze the question I can figure out the answer even when I've never seen or heard of what the question is asking. Maybe I'm overconfident. Either way the nclex is approaching fast and I'm very afraid.

NCSBN
I've never repeated a test and haven't gotten a repeat question. This is my score first try without use of the lessons. I'm just not sure whether I should be scoring in the 80's/ 90's.
-
NCSBN
I have only been taking the tests with no prior lessons and I have been scoring at least 70% and above on them.

Any of you taking the Review with them? What should the scores be?
