hi iammiguelhenry. i understand how you feel about your application with reference to your experience and indeed you are qualified. i agree with what chione03 inform you. the answers to some of your question can be found from the previous post. seriously, i have to do a quick research on that. and if i'll be lucky to have a response from my new friends (nurses who presently work in libya) i have met in filsino on my fb, then i'd be delighted to answer your queries. also, my dad used to work in libya before the civil war. he taught libyan nursing student how to speak in english so my pop might be a great help. =) by the way, chione03 you're welcome.

Libya MOH nurses 2012
Thanks for asking, I would love to answer that. Here is my story. Me and my fiancee sign our initial contract last march(This is after the interview). After 3 weeks (2nd week of april), we have completed all of our requirements such as red ribbon (prc certificate, employer cert and medical), PDOS and signed the POEA contract (which is the contract given by our Employer thru Libya Consular office). By the way, we were informed by Miss Joy that we might be the first batch to be deployed and we just have to wait patiently for our visa and ticket. Then after a month and 2 weeks, (last week of May) we were informed that the visa of selected Feb-March nurses have arrived. We were about 700+ and just to let you know, visa stamping will just be done after ticket arrives. Month of June came and some few tickets arrived. Filsino told us that the employer will randomly select employees from FEB-MARCH applicant for ticket releasing. If I am not mistaken, that's 40+11+20+21, a total of 91 tickets as of today(however, ask Filsino for more accurate info about the figures). To wrap this up, there is really no definite date and time. It's a test of patience.

May I know what month did you apply? And did your agency advise you to take PDOS already? I also applied for MOH tripoli last May and when I called my agency, they told me that there's no update yet regarding my application. They can't give me a definite date as to when will be our departure due to the ongoing election in Libya Hi chione03 Thanks for asking, I would love to answer that. Here is my story. Hi remiaraq. With regards to your question, Let me just answer you categorically. Our employer (MOH) is the one who can decide whether they will accept applicants who are aged 40 or 50+. It's within their discretion whose applicant will get the pot. What I have noticed and observed though is that there were nurses who was offered a job last FEB-march that are aged 40-50. I have spoke to some of them but I never thought of asking their age, ( mainly because they might feel offended ). What you can do though is to inquire from recruitment agencies on what are the preferences of the employer. And I'm sure they will be able to help you out. Seems to me nothing is wrong with how old you are as long as you want to serve people who needs help especially the kind of profession we have. Keep on tryin' GBU

to gracelee. It seems that you have a lot of question on your mind about the working condition in libya. Well after the civil war, libya is rebuilding it's government. You can just surf the net and the info you wannna know is just one click away. You can learn more about libya by going to this website. or you can just try the wikipedia. IN addition, some of your questions (such as Bengazi Gen. Hosp., Filipino's living in libya, do's and don'ts) have already been answered in this website by professionals who are currently in libya. Hi guyz. Tickets from our employer(MOH tripoli) is constantly arriving. Lately, 20 tickets have arrived last saturday which has a departure date of August 05, 2012. That includes my fiancee's ticket and I'm happy for her. . . :) We attended victory group and never stop praying for it then God answered us after a day. I just hope mine would arrive soon as well. In addition, she will be able to update me about anything with reference to our work. Then I will be able to update you guyz real-time. By the way. my fiancee just went to Filsino yesterday and after she arrived here in our hometown(PAngasinan), I asked her a bunch of question. Filsino discussed to her about how she will get paid. Sad to say this but we will just be receving our 3months-salary after three months. The good news is that it would be a lumpsum amount and our employer will be giving our allowance every month. Well, for those pipz who have more update, please share. Thanks and remember, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well". hello. We have same situation here. I have been selected and hired by moh last march with an existing visa but without stamp. I was supposedly the first batch of nurses to fly, but according to fil-sino, employees are randomly selected by our employer and it's out of their(filsino) control. We just have to pray and hope. It works! Remember, There's a purpose why we dont have our ticket yet. Let us maximize our time together with our family and friends while we are still here. Ask wisdom to God if you're getting confuse.

Haist. I can't believe this. We were told that we are the first batch to fly to LIBYA (particularly MOH Hospital) filed by Filsino by Ma'am Joy. Unfortunately Me and my fiancee was not on the list. Filsino told us that the Employer is the one to choose and decide who will get their plane ticket. That's absurb! In my own point of view, it could be base on the employer's preference such as specialty and years of experience. Rumors is circulating as well and some says that Filsino is the one making up the list and they based it to the people (nurses) who paid full first. Others claimed that the list of first-second batch was manipulated because some tried to negotiate and they knew someone inside who is a great influence to the Higher MGT. However, these rumors are not verified. But come to think of it, you might not agree but It's the "Palakasan" system that we have in our culture, wherin I hate and should be dealt with by removing this culture and trasforming the mind-set of the people. Currently, the 41 nurses have already arrived in Libya safely. Thanks be to God! It's uncertain when will the next batch of ticket will arrive. Would it be better If I'll just go to Filsino personally? Last time I've been there was last week of April. And I just rely in calling their landline. Seriously, I have to change my plan. It's been four months that I'm waiting I doubt that after six months, Filsino might asks US (nurses) to renew our medical Exam again. By the way, I was selected by IBN-sina and Jomohiraya before, I dropped it down because the benefits and the salary that was offered by the MOH is much higher than the latter. So, I've been an applicant of Filsino for 3 years, been waiting for a while now and what I can testify is this. "Its a test of patience and a pain in the neck!

that's a great news. I just hope that the Government of Libya can control those militias from across Libya. Young men possessed guns that were used from the revolution last year, and this concern me most. I am praying for our security and protection as well. Guyz, Check out the latest news about Libya Unrest 2012. It would give you a better understanding about the issues going on there. It's surprising that loose-firearms is everywhere and that creates anxiety for us Filipino's. You'll never know what to expect there, . . . But I trust God, No matter what happens, It's still gonne be the will of God. God reigns. God much more bigger than these problems.

good thing i found this website. It's really helpful to me knowing that the answers are from the pipz who have work in libya before. I have received an update from Filsino guyz, and our airplane ticket is soon to arrive. I know that it's now coming near and anxiety strikes fast. I'm a christian, would it be fine to bring my Bible since Libya is a Muslim Country?
