  1. I originally went with Duke but I changed my mind last week and will be heading to ECU in January. I feel like the two are very comparable programs with very supportive faculty. The more I thought about it, ECU is just a better fit for me personally. It was definitely hard turning down Duke though! Good luck to all of you!
  2. Hey. I'm sort of in the same situation. Do you mind if I ask, what did you decide?
  3. I didn't take any graduate level sciences prior to applying. I know quite a few other people over the past few years who didn't either. However, when it comes to applying to nurse anesthesia school, you have to consider that most people have similar GPAs, GRE scores, CCRN, and ICU experience. It's easy for us all to look the same on paper. Taking a graduate level science would definitely make you stand out and help you prepare for the program. Also, I know people who didn't have great undergrad science grades and by taking a graduate level course and kicking butt in it they redeemed themselves.
  4. I was accepted also! I was in Friday's group. It's been three days since I found out and I'm still in total shock!
  5. I felt pretty good coming out of the interview also. It was definitely intimidating at first. After a few questions, I actually started to enjoy talking to them. It definitely wasn't a miserable experience like I had anticipated. Now, it is KILLING me waiting to hear back!!
  6. Hey! I interviewed at ECU also! How did you interviews go?
