  1. Hello, I'am a student of Sprott Shaw Community College. I have recently enrolled in the HCA program. For those of you who don't know HCA is Health Care Assistant. It is the new RCA program. As of now I'am on my clinical. I do realize the comments on here last one dates back too 2006. 6 years ago........... SSCC is one of the best schools. Yes the cost is more but so worth it! My instructor was amazing! She had enrolled in the HCA program and then into the LPN program. She still works as an LPN and as an instructor. She was very strict! She put alot of effort into her students. We were rewarded by SSCC the best class! My clinical instructor commented that during our clinical we were calm and confident while providing gentle care to the residents. I will be enrolling into the LPN program at SSCC. SSCC is a very good school. The instructors are amazing! It's a very warm, comfortable environment. SSCC is a very professional school with high expectations of there students. They encourage them to do their best and excel in there studies to push further in their careers and education. All SSCC students that have taken the HCA program and LPN program get hired. Also the majority of the students from SSCC graduate with honors! SSCC has a very good reputation! I highly recommend this school to any one! Thank You
