Hello everyone! I graduated RN school in May, and recently passed boards. I have been a LPN at a local hospital (Float pool Med/Surg; Oncology, Surgery, Orthopedics, and Pulmonary ) for 4+ years now. In GA the nurse practice act for LPN is similar to that of the RN. Even as a RN now, my job description doesn't change that much, just the pay o.0 I can now sign off on my own admission assessments and careplans. Pull out PICCs, etc... I'm ready to do travel nursing. I'm competent working Med/Surg units. I have no problem adapting. I'm just ready to go back to my home state, CA. (Starting the proccess of endorsment for the state of CA) I don't plan on traveling for another 6 months. I guess my question is; will I run into issues with agencies with the limited amount of "RN" experience that I will have when I am ready in 6 months? Any input on this matter would be great! Thank you, Mac
