Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what the scrub colors will be? I know from previous students that most of them went with a rolling backpack. Any info from past students? I want to start getting things a little at a time so that I'm not hit all at once in the pocket.

That probably means you got into Montgomery and we all know they are always the last ones to send out acceptances.

Redhen, There are a few places in Montgomery, there is a Children's Universe on 105 and McCaleb road and then there is the ABC Academy off of 105 and Freeport rd. I have heard good things about both of them.

Ya'll are not alone at all! I have a 6 year old and a 10 year old and will continue to work as a Nurse Tech PRN while in school. We will all get through this together and two years from now we will be stressing over taking the NCLEX.

Ohh ok! I am off of 2854 and Honea Egypt and honestly the drive is not that bad if you take 2854 to 45.

Redhen, I am also in Montgomery! What area of Montgomery are you in? I am attending the June 4th orientation because I will be out of town for the May orientation. From what I understand is if you have your CNA you are exempt from one of the RNSG courses. So that being said I am not sure what my actual start date will be. As for the blue card, if you already have yours you have already met the BON's requirements. If not you will receive the information as to where to go and when to go at orientation. I already have my blue card due to being accepted at another school last semester. I can't wait to get started.

I'm going to the June orientation because I'll be on the beach in Mexico for the May orientation. Hee hee!

Redhen, I was'nt so sure about Montgomery and was totally prepared for North Harris. Montgomery is hard to get into. They take the highest of scores and I know there are a lot of people that apply there. I am perfectly happy with going to North Harris!

Sounds like they must have gotten them back. What was your 2nd choice? You may still have a chance so don't count your chicks before they hatch.

Hello, I also applied to Montgomery with an 11.3.

Another two weeks sounds about right. When I turned my app in at Montgomery on the 17th they told me 3-4 weeks and it's only been two weeks. The longest two weeks that is!

I was told that emails would go out first and then letters. Only those accepted will receive an email and a letter. Any of those that are declined will only be sent letters.

So if we are accepted, when do we actually begin the program? I have my CNA certification and have already taken Pharm. Is it July or August?

Yazi, Don't give up hope yet! Scoring is only half of the process. The advisor at the Montgomery campus told me that the last few application sessions for LVN that all of the applicants were excepted because they just don't have near the amount of applicants for it than they do for ADN. So you never know! Keep the faith!

Wow! To hear something this week or next would be awesome!!!!!

It's only been one week and I am now starting to get antsy! At first I was ok with the wait but not so much now. Another dreaded 3 weeks of waiting is going to drive me insane! Lol
