@ Marshall1 What school did you attend?

I've searched high and low but cannot find a college that doesn't require TEAS test. I am open to going for Assoc or Bachelors. I perform horrible on tests with multiple subjects like the SAT test. I would prefer a college like St. Louis Community College which only requires the dosage calculation test. On the other hand I want to live my life in GA not Missouri. If you know of a college that requires ANY other type of entrance test that would be a huge help. ANYWHERE IN GA IS :yes:k.

@kmayes Thanks for the quick response. That helps me in my decision process more than you know. :hug: I think first come first serve is far better than my current situation. FYI for potential Jefferson College students: They got rid of their waiting list. Now if the other applicants have more points than you you're out of luck. Your name doesn't even go on a wait list, even though people have met the pre-reqs. SAD They are making people apply each year to the program. So if you are not selected for the open term sorry. The only way to get more points than other people is to re-take the courses to make an A and/or retake the HESI.

I have read people getting wait list numbers ranging from 100-300. At Jefferson College they use a point system. So each pre/co-req would be 1-3points for a total of 100 on your nursing application. I'm switching from Jefferson coll to stlcc & have all pre/co-reqs except CHEM, AP II & AP II completed. For those of you who received a waiting number under 150 from STLCC what do you think determined that? If you received a high waiting number I'd love to hear your thoughts as well. STLCC's website doesn't give me enough info on how to increase my chances of getting a low wait list number. On the other hand it could be the opposite & be first come first serve or a lottery process - idk.
