  1. Thank you very much for replying.I'll be working on a Med/Surg unit during night shift. I believe pharm test will be sometime next week. How hard are those questions? I do have BLS certification and will take classes for ACLS and PALS when offered. It has been an interesting experience so far... from buying my first official scrub, getting a badge with RN on it:), meeting new people but of course nervous about being on the floor.
  2. I am a new RN and will be on orientation for new hire all this week. what can I expect when it comes to the RN class part? will there be pharm test etc?! thanks in advance.
  3. Relax the day before and get some rest. don't write anything down on the eraser board until it's time and be sure to relax and focus. You know your stuff!!!!! good luck:)
  4. I took the test on 5/10 and checked the pvt 2 hours after the test and got the good pop up. my name was on BON site 5/15, so it took 5 days. so, hopefully you'll get your official result tomorrow or Friday. If the posting is to be taken down before then, go ahead and apply and just put the date when you took the NCLEX. Good luck to you!
  5. I have read somewhere on this forum that some people got the "bad" pvt trick and it turned up incorrect. Until you get the official result, keep good thoughts.
  6. It's like waiting for to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX:(. I know the Nurse Manager said she would love to have me on her team but without that official offer from the HR/Nurse Recruiter, There's that little doubt. Well, hopefully I should hear from the NR next week after her vacation. I am very excited to work at this hospital, especially the unit I applied for:)
  7. i interviewed with the nurse manager on thurs and everything went well and was told that she would love to have me on her team. so, i asked if she's hiring me ( just to get a definitive answer) and said she does not have the official capacity and will forward my papers to the nurse recruiter. after the interview with the nurse manager, i bumped into the nurse recruiter and she asked me about the interview , i said everything went well, she then asked me if i have any questions for her (hr dept) and she reiterated the salary, orientation per our conversation 3 days prior the interview with the nurse manager. she said that she will call me friday or saturday being that she's going on vacation next week. today is sunday and i have yet to receive any call from her. i am getting worried. i am a new grad rn and that was my first interview. i'm not familiar with the process. can you tell me if this is customary or did they find a new candidate? i would love to work for this hospital, especially the unit. please advise. thank you in advance. url: http://able2know.org/topic/192653-1
