NP, ANP, FNP......Help please!!!!
I can't speak about anything specific to California, as I am in Ohio. An FNP can treat anyone at any age. An ANP is limited to 13 & up. In Ohio there are several jobs for both. FNPs seem to have more options available though. Also, I don't think they will have the option to be certified as an ANP when you would graduate. As for liability insurance...some jobs cover it and others don't.

A Good Question Bank?
I forgot to add....I had searched for questions online and never really found any. I did the questions in the review books

A Good Question Bank?
I passed the exam in February. The only study materials I used were Fitzgerald. I did the online review which came with a study guide and 2 additional books. I definitely felt like Fitzgerald really prepared me for the test.

From the frying pan to the Fire?
I am also a new graduate NP currently in the interview process. I have a good friend who is an experienced NP. She has told me many times to expect at least a couple of months of orientation. I wouldn't feel safe alone my first week! Good luck!

RE: New NP grad/new job=HUGE ANXIETY!
Hi DuckFan...I hope it's ok that I am posting/responding. I see you posted this last month and are probably feeling better about your new role. I have no great advice as I am a new graduate ANP myself. Your post caught my attention because I have an interview with Evercare in 2 weeks. I have the same anxiety and concerns that you have and I haven't even been hired. I am very excited about the interview because this is a job I really think I would like. I have been on several interviews and have turned down a few jobs for various reasons. I am hoping that you have some advice or words of wisdom for my interview! I thank you in advance.
