I am waiting to get into the BSN program and people keep telling me that I should go in to become an LPN instead of an RN. They say that they are getting rid of RN's and just employing LPN's.(I am in BC on the island) I am not too sure now if I want to do 4 years of school if 1 year will do the same with what I want to do with my career. My plans for the future are moving to the USA if I cant find really good work around here and also going over to a 3rd world country somewhere. I was going to look into becoming a travel nurse or else specialize in something- like the ER or OR. Not to sure yet because I havent experienced any of that yet. I currently have my RCA certificate but not too sure if I am able to succeed in my plans as an LPN. If you have any advice for me PLEASE let me know. Thanks. Melissalee
