  1. I did the Excelsior workshop and passed the CPNE first try with no retakes and I feel like the workshop was an essential part of my passing. I can't speak to the efficacy of the other workshops, but my thought was if was going to take a workshop, who better than with the people who are actually testing me! The main thing here is that no single workshop is going to magically make you pass. You need work your tail off and show up prepared!
  2. You're absolutely right. Not sure where/why I had that in there, but it's gone now. Thanks!
  3. Figuring out where to start studying is the hardest part. Start with reading the manual and go from there. A workshop is good. I took the Excelsior one and found it to be very helpful. Not only was the material good, but it also helped to organize my studying instead of flitting from one subject to another.
  4. I'm testing in Utica this month and thought I'd share some of my notes in case anyone is interested. I use springpad so that I have them on my phone and computer--it's free and seems to work pretty well. It's an ongoing project and I'm adding stuff every couple of days or so as time allows. If you notice any errors let me know! Best of luck everyone! http://sprng.me/heo4b
