  1. Mrskwk, thank you for the info. Would 66 college credits (the pre-reqs i would need for a BSN) actually be obtainable in about 4yrs while active duty?
  2. Hi Everyone I'm currently in DEP for 68D. I want to become a RN and officer more then anything and I'm desperately seeking answers on how To go about it while active duty. My questions Are........................................................................................................................ 1) if I do not meet the 110 GT requirement for AECP And officer (I have a 108 GT score) can I retake the ASVAB or GT section alone once im active duty............................................ 2) I know one of the other requirements is to be able to complete a BSN in 24 months or less so does that mean I must have a ASN or can I just have all 60 General Education courses required for a BSN. If I need a ASN, is it possible to obtain while active duty? how? I have 9 college credits................................................................................................. 3) do you need a security clearance for AECP? I have a clean back ground but my credit is iffy due to my mother taking out credit in my name WITHOUT my knowledge and not making the payments. By the time I found out they were 6 months delinquent and I made settlements on them.................................................................................................. 4) my last question is regarding my MOS decision. When I went to MEPS my MOS was 68W airborne. At the last minute I changed to 68D because the lady at MEPS told me I would have more time and opportunities to go to school and obtain my RN. She also told my is I was stationed at a hospital (which according to her 68D would be) the staff there would tell me the ins and outs of obtaining my RN while active duty. so I through away 68W the MOS I truly wanted and waited for so I would have more time and oppertunitys to go to school and obtain my RN. DID SHE TELL ME THE TRUTH? DID I MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION FOR WHAT I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH? My contract is for 6yrs and I want to have attest my RN before then. Because If I find out I won't be able to at least obtain my RN wile active duty I will change my MOS back to 68W. Ill enjoy it a lot more and will have the opportunity to be a flight medic at some point in time. Thank you so much in advance for your help.
