I called them about it they said some states you can challenge the NCLEX and get your license that way, apparently Texas will not endorse a license obtained that way, you have to show proof that you were in an actual nursing program and graduated from it.
I am getting my license in Florida but plan on moving to Texas shortly after, will I be able to apply for an enforcement? I am graduating from an ADN program and will be getting my RN license.
I was reading the FAQ on the Texas BON site and came across this one "I am an RN Undergraduate and hold a nursing license in another state. Can I endorse that nursing license to Texas? No. You must have graduated from an approved nursing program to be eligible to apply for endorsement." Can anyone clarify what this actually means? I am in an accredited ADN program in Florida and will graduate August 13th and then sit for the NCLEX, for my RN... I am I eligible for a Texas enforcement?
