Congrats! I passed boards on June 13th and will be starting my job on July 14th as well on a med-surg/telemetry unit! I thought Hurst helped me a great deal.

Hi, FloridaRN0614! I just graduated as well in May. I had a job offer contingent on passing boards, and I did last week! I don't start the job until the first week of July, so maybe I can brush up on a few things. Lol. I am definitely nervous! I'm just going to try and be a sponge and soak everything in one day at a time and hope that I can put forth what I've learned! Oh, and I graduated high school in 2006 too. Looks like we have a few things in common! Good luck!

Well congrats again to everybody on getting accepted! Bevill was my first choice, but it looks like I'm gonna have to pass! Not being able to get the student loan thing is a bit much for me now....

I also have a friend in Bevill's program who qualifies for WIA. It is only for those who are unemployed(lost their jobs) I believe.

I know right! And you need the money up front by next month and a background check done.

Yea, I've actually tried to get a Sallie Mae's loan but declined a while back when I couldn't get a credible co-signer at that time.

I was told that Bevill doesn't give out student loans. I don't qualify for the pell grant anymore.....Ugh! I'm gonna have a rough time getting adequate funds then. Gotta find some other options. ADN scholarship maybe??

Besides Bevill, I'm not sure which program is better. ICC or Northeast? Does anyone prefer one over the other or have any reviews about them?
