  1. Hey guys, just an update I recently received the letter from CNO stating I met eligibility to write CPNRE. So it took me about 1 1/2 yrs. But I did have some problems with the actual Nursing school that I graduated from. They didn't have appropriate course documents to sent to CNO. May be that's why my application took so long. Hopefully you all hear from them soon.
  2. @ bebeh I use to think like this too but not any more.... Right now I am trying to use my time wisely, spending time with kids/family, reviewing test materials and just trying to take it easy.
  3. Nope still waiting....
  4. As far as I know I can not take a bridging program till I get letter of direction from CNO.
  5. Even if they do make a decision, chances to land a job are slim. I am thinking to go back to school and study something else in medical field...... but that is still up in the air.
  6. Thanx toronto-nurse. I applied for RPN and it's already been 9 months waiting for decision. I am just hoping it's going to be soon. :)
  7. loriangel14 .... wow 12 months. I have 3 more months to ago before it's an yr.
  8. Your right, English is not my first language. If CNO wanted ALL of the education wouldn't they have asked for it by now. I know that they have waived English Language fluency test, as they have said so. Plus they have asked for (and have received in Feb) documents from my previous job and nursing licensor board. It's just frustrating, that's all
  9. Hi everyone.... I have been following this website for a little while. Currently I am waiting for CNO to make a decision on my RPN application. I applied last Sept and still they haven't made a decision..... I am surprised that even a degree from US is taking so long to be evaluated! How long did yours take from application to be able to sit in exam? This waiting is just killing me!!! If in any way I had known it's going to take this long I would have studied something while waiting. Even now if I come to know it's going to take one more yr I will enroll in different field. Everytime I call CNO their reply is we don't know very case is different.....UUUggghh! May be hearing from all of you might make me feel better! Did you have to wait more than an yr?
