  1. Thank you! That is so encouraging because I am a little worried about the courseload and my home work load plus working 2 shifts a week! I have heard if you are dedicated you will do well and I am dedicated! At 30 it is time to get this knocked out!!!
  2. I'm going the traditional route at first and I may fast track in the fall later if I feel like I can take the course load. I am currently 7 months pregnant so I will be doing nursing school with 2 kids and a newborn/toddler (by the time I graduate). However, If I wasn't in my current situation I would go for it! :) Good luck!
  3. Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College offers nutrition online. It is a 3 hour course and their out of state tuition is only $192 a credit hour. Even though I live in Memphis and am going to transfer to U of M next fall I am taking my prereqs at MGCCC. Click on their elearning. You can take stats online with them also.
  4. This is a federal program that is supposed to be renewed every year. Nursing Scholarship Program Hopefully you could get approved for the scholarship for the years you are in! It is need based!
  5. I would prefer to have the book too! I'm going for it! Wish me luck!!:w00t:
  6. I think I would rather go into A&P with as much confidence as I can. Thanks for the feedback! I think I will take Biology first just for the extra little edge!
  7. Did you do the strictly online format or their "campus" version where you go to class once a week! Your reply is super encouraging. I seriously read it and took a deep breath :)
  8. Thanks for the encouragement from the other moms out there! It eases my mind alot! I've been wondering if I was crazy to get this wild hair to go back to school now. I live in TN and alot of the community colleges around here either don't offer what I need online or don't let you use federal loans....ugh! I am looking at eventually going to Union nursing school and I have been in close contact with them over what transfers and they are really helpful. I know they take U of P Anat and Phys, I've just never taken an online class before and was a little scared of online format. I think I can, I think I can....
  9. I've been out of the science loop since highschool (12 years ago) but I have a basic knowledge of the human body and find it fascinating and often read medical articles and such. Since I really need an A for nursing school I am wondering if those of you out there that have taken A/P recommend Biology or found it helpful. Thanks!
  10. I am currently prego but trying to get my pre-reqs and this is one way to not interfere with my due date. I'm due in the end of September so traditional fall classes will be a no go. I've already checked and they are accredited at the university I wish to transfer them to. Any feedback is appreciated. I would like to know how you rated the class and what your grade was.
