  1. @Hoepfully RN once I graduated, I just went to the state board of nursing (the state in which I wanted to test in) and applied, there was a check off list of requirements which they wanted, such as proof of completion, transcript, and board of nursing fee, there wasn't a lot of stuff they wanted. I then submitted the forms, sent it to the school, had them sign and seal it and mail it to the state board of nursing, 2-3 wks later I received my permission to test, then I registered to take NCLEX
  2. @Hoepfully RN I'm far away from TX, and I had no issues in my state, however one of my classmates is having issues in NJ, other classmates had no issues in NY, PA, DE ....I guess they're requiring her to provide more documentation of completion, so she's been going back and forth with them for sometime. I think the problem was that she applied through FL board of nursing and then tried to get it endorsed through NJ, whereas she should've just went through NJ once she received her permission to test because that's what the rest of us did, we just applied in our state instead of getting it endorsed. Hope that helped.
  3. Yeah, you'll be fine; trust me, it's better than giving up your whole life for 2 years or more when you'll still come out with the same title and 3 months goes like that, a snap of a finger! Hope to hear from you in 3 months about your experience. Best of luck!
  4. Yes, and it's only 10 months if you take one class at a time or shorter if you take more than one
  5. @Hoepfully RN I'm not sure who they're Accredited by tbh but I agree, all the bad reviews are coming from people who didn't make it through the program and people who couldn't pass the exit exam; shoot I would be mad too lol. However, I have nothing bad to say; I taught myself everything!!! Wasn't looking for anyone to hold my hand anyway. Lots of my coworkers and friends wished they jumped on board too and everyone who did have no regrets and are living their best life! People stay in my DMs asking million of questions abt the school, but unfortunately the location i attended is closing... it's a once in a lifetime opportunity and if it's offered to you, I suggest you grab it and run!!!
  6. @Hoepfully RN yes they're not lying when they say you'll be done real quick, it's true!!! Just get it out the way and don't look back. After I received my permission to test, I applied right in my home state so I wouldn't have to get endorsed later, so I didn't go through Florida. One of my classmates had a problem with hers becuz she went through Florida and now trying to get endorsed in New Jersey and they're giving her a hard time
  7. @Macavelibad2 UTA University Texas at Arlington accepted me with no problems and my classmate got accepted to Chamberlin, she's doing her Master's right now
  8. @Darp7288 well said, yes attending the program was the best decision of my life, I has opened so many close doors. Now I'm making great money working close to home and living my dreams. I wish you the best on passing your nursing exam.
  9. @Hopefull RN I don't know what you mean by "funny business" even though they did have some interesting and funny stories to share....but at the end of the day, they're still a RN! If you don't like how the school is set up or ran, then go to a traditional school and don't waste your time... go with your gut feeling!
  10. @Hopefull RN 3 of my coworkers attended the Naples campus, 2 of them are RNs and one hasn't passed boards yet
  11. @Kenny B Sure I had previous prerequisites from a previous degree, so I only had to complete 6 months to complete the program. The program was $18,000 for me, but I heard the school/program was closing, I'm not sure if it's every location though.
  12. @Smack1987 I paid for school out of pocket. I just got hired as a Nursing Supervisor with great benefits that has tuition reimbursement, so what ever isn't covered, I'll pay the rest out of pocket as well. I wish you the best on your nursing journey.
  13. Just an update since no one has posted in awhile. I'm officially a RN and got approved to start my BSN soon, so happy to be done with the school!
  14. Hi, so far so good. I will officially be completed all of my courses next month, just counting down the days:nurse:. It really went by fast. I have all A's and one B. All of my classmates are doing good as well. I'm just studying for my exit exam and NCLEX.
  15. Hi, yes I attend clinicals in Maryland once a week. It's going fine, I'm almost at the finish line. Started in August and I will officially be completed all my courses in March, even though I don't graduate until May. I was able to get completed some courses early and I have an A in every class and one B. So I'm just studying for my exit exam and NCLEX, but the workload is doable, not overwhelming at all. I'm able to still work like I want, no complaints.
