  1. Congrats everyone! I'm currently a second-semester AGACNP/FNP BSN to DNP program student. Nervous but excited about clinicals in the fall! Initially, I was supposed to get in for the Fall of 2018, but I missed a deadline and ended up getting in for Spring of 2019. Can't remember how long the acceptance letter took from the time of application. But I do believe I got it mid-Sept. 4.0 GPA, 2 years of staff ER experience right out of nursing school... I ended up choosing the 12 semester CV subspecialty. But I may do a bit more research on that CV bit based on somethings I learned to see if its as useful to me. Ask away if you have more questions.
  2. I graduated the summer of 2014 so I'm sure much has changed since then. I found a place by driving/walking around the areas I thought I wanted to live and calling the for rent signs. Usually people stayed either by the school or like I did in ocean park. Other in Condado or they lived a bit away in nearby areas and also drove to school. I would go to the Facebook ( check my about me page for links) and you can ask current students or those who recently graduated. You can also contact the international relations dept at the uni and they were helpful with a lot of that. I can only speak to what my program was like as I'm not sure of all the changes that have occurred since then. All the best!
  3. Hi shadygirl, I'm currently researching your same program and wanted to know how you were finding it? are you enjoying it? are there classes or profs you find difficult? does the program support you? do you graduate with both an MSN and a DNP? or just a DNP? Any advice on how to get on top of time management?
  4. As a graduate, I can tell you that you'll need to bring the board paperwork to the Asst Dir (or whomever is in charge of it then) and they'll give you a letter that details what the board is requesting. :) And you're good to go!
  5. There's an academic calender online which gives you all those details :) http://www.metro.inter.edu/calendario/201513.pdf
  6. Go to my profile page - i have the links there. the terms of service with this site does not allow me to post fb or websites.. on the forum.. sorry
  7. The PR police is separate from the US police info. So your CALI dui won't show up. Don't stress.. You can get the paperwork even when you get to the island. I did that.
  8. I started my term in Feb and took the last of my GE's that I needed including spanish and Hx of PR and started the accelerated in Aug with the rest of the group. So you can try that too.
  9. planning to do the same.. You have to get a very specific course breakdown before you leave the Uni once you graduate... and we are all in the process of getting that done.. so there shouldn't be any problem. :)
  10. If you'd like more info on Inter Metro's nursing program. Or want to ask current students/alumni... check out Enfermeria Inter Metro on FB under pages and groups. :)
  11. its a possiblity, I know the director has been busy with upcoming finals for the term and graduation :) which is in june
  12. I would second that.. I also emailed a gentleman in the international dept of inter -
  13. I brought course catalogs with me when I came to the school after admission
