Quick Results on weekends
Hello- Just wondering are there quick results on weekends? Took my exam Friday (Ohio Test Taker) and was done around 3:30. So I should get my quick results today (Sunday) around 3:30? 48 hours? Or is it business hours? Also, when I did the new PVT, it said my results are on hold. I think its because I was having problems with the palm scanner? Wouldn't read my palms 2 or 3 times on each hand. Could that be why the hold is in place? Any help would be great! Thanks!

Just got home from the NCLEX...
Hello everyone! I just got home from the NCLEX and wanted to share my experience today. This would be my second shot at the exam, and hopefully my last. I think the first time my anxiety and my power going out during the exam, got to me. My first attempt, it took be 4 hours, 177 questions, 24 SATA, and over 13 meds that I didn't even know. My second attempt (today- and hopefully my final), 90 minutes, 77 questions, 10 SATA, 2 drag and drops, one cardiac strip, and about 8 meds that I knew half of. I felt so much more relaxed and calm this time around. Took more breaks and just felt good. I did the pearson view trick about an hour after my exam and got the new "good pop-up" after putting in all my credit card info and hitting submit. What do you guys think? Accurate? PRAY FOR ME!

Nclex round 2 tomorrow- the winning round
Tomorrow I take the NCLEX, for the second and FINAL time! Staying positive about it! I feel good about all the information. My tutor told me I am ready to test and to not allow myself to be my own enemy. Scared? Yes. Anxious? A little. Excited to become a RN, YES YES YES! Had one last tutoring session today. Not really studying. Just doing some questions and thats it! Wish me luck!

Taking the NCLEX for the 2nd Time this week (Buszta Review Class)
Yeah I think knowing what to expect from the REAL test deff decreased my anxiety, but the fear of not know what content to expect is still there. SATA are still hard for me and all those meds! I didn't even really study the meds much this time around because its just impossible to know which ones you will get. Wayyyyy too many!

Taking the NCLEX for the 2nd Time this week (Buszta Review Class)
So, round 2- The final round for me, is this week! Nervous? Yes. Anxious? Yes. More confident this time around? Yes. Who am I? I am never like this before an exam. I took the NCLEX the first time August 1st and actually thought I did ok, minus the horrible experience. My power went out during my exam and from that point on, it was downhill from there. I got to 177 questions. I had about 24 SATA, 13 meds (which I knew none), 1 cardiac strip, 2 drag and drops, and 2 or 3 pictures. It was hard, not gonna lie. I took the Buszta Review class a total of three times now and am being private tutored. She says I am doing very well, just need to get my anxiety under control. She also said I tend to burn out after 25 questions so I need to take more frequent breaks during the exam. I am deff not over-studying this time around. I think I over-studied for about 2 months the first time. I went on 8-10 hours a day, studying, with breaks. This time, I am taking more breaks and not sitting for hours at a time studying. I am review only content areas where I am weak in and doing lots more questions vs just looking at notes. I feel good and hope I have a smooth and passing experience when I take my exam this week. Any advice guys? I know its been almost 3 months since i took the exam the first time, but I needed a break after the first time. Took 3-4 weeks off, then took the review class again and started doing questions, and the last 2 weeks I have been tutored. Wish me luck! PRAYING FOR THE BEST NEWS EVER: PASS!

Took the HORRIBLE NCLEX today...
Everyone swears that Buszta is the best! My results came back and I did not pass :-( I think my anxiety got to me when the power went out. I was clearly doing somewhat well if I didn't fail at 75. I contacted Buszta and am going to another class coming up and then gonna get tutored by them after. Re-taking the exam sometime in September. Saunders seems a little harder than what we need to know. But it is a good source. I would also recommend the nclex mastery app. Worth the money. Taking the week off and then studying again next week. Can't wait- not. Any suggestions guys? I'm still kind of numb about my results.

Took the HORRIBLE NCLEX today...
So more than likely the cable to the computer being pulled out by my foot. But if I failed, wouldn't they just fail me and not place me on hold?

Took the HORRIBLE NCLEX today...
So, never thought I would actually be posting on this site, but here I am. I have loved all the wonderful posts from everyone, that I have been reading throughout my NCLEX studies. I started studying for the NCLEX in May 2014, about a week after I graduated. I took the review course my program offered our class and it was the Buszta NCLEX review. It is supposed to be the best in Ohio and people travel from all over the US to take it. I took this course twice, just so the information was fresh in my head until I took the NCLEX. I originally was scheduled to take the NCLEX August 11th, but bumped it up to August 1st because I was sick of studying and couldn't wait any longer. All my classmates were passing and I felt like I was over studying. In nursing school, I was always a B student (except one class I got a C). Never a good test taker with horrible anxiety, but managed to push through it and graduate with a nursing degree (ADN) and a exercise science degree (bachelors). I took the dreaded NCLEX today (August 1st, 2014) and was surprisingly calm until my computer screen went BLACK at around question 20. My foot got caught on the computer power cable and pulled it out of the wall. I was freaking out. I didn't want to fail because of this or have to start over. The TA came in, plugged it back in, started the computer up again and I started where I left off thankfully. The exam ended for me at around 175-180 questions and took me about 4 hours. I took my time. I thought it was very hard. I had about 12 medications, 1 math, 2 drag and drops, 28 Select All's, but none of the select all's were in groups. Does this mean anything? They were pretty scattered. I left the exam feeling confused and didn't know what to think. I did the Pearson Vue Trick and got a weird on hold pop-up: "The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time". WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?! Why did I have to get this? My anxiety is going crazy right now. Could it be because of the computer shutting down when the plug was pulled? I don't know what to think?! If I failed, would I have got the credit card page right away? Is 175-180 a weird number of questions to get? Any advice would be great! Thank you everyone for your awesome support and posts! Praying for the best!
