  1. New to NICU! NICU terms?

    Hi, I attend Northern Arizona University and I am in my second year about to start the nursing program (hopefully). I have been reading a lot on this NICU forum and I am very interesting in going into NICU. I also do not know much about the terminology used. I was wondering if anyone could help me. What is the difference between Level 1, 2, and 3? Also do you start out in level 1? And any other information anyone is willing to give me! I don't care about salary or anything like that I just really want to know what being a NICU nurse is really all about! Thank you!!!!
