  1. the hurst review is way to basic compared to the question I had on the NCLEX.. it was a complete waste of time.
  2. In my classes I was taught that for medication errors, an incident report should be filed and it should NOT be mentioned in the Medical record. In the Kaplan strategy book p.141 Q.30, they state that an incident report should be filed along with documentation of the event in the medical record. I'm sure I could find resources that say otherwise to Kaplan.. I have found a lot of grammar/spelling errors in Kaplan's books, so I wonder if this is an error. Which is the right answer for the NCLEX because I feel like its a common question they are likely to ask. What are your opinions and why?
  3. Hurst online video series, and Saunders Question software were the major ones.. I just feel like I got a poor batch of questions to test my knowledge. 2-3 hours/day for a little more than a month. After taking the test from the questions I had the Hurst videos seemed quite useless - they do not go in depth enough to answer NCLEX questions.
  4. So, took the nclex-rn, it shut off at about 95 questions, 12 SATA, whole bunch of random drugs I had never heard of. Really narrow field of testing.. lot of Alzheimer's questions for some reason. It really didn't test much of a width of knowledge. It ended on a SATA question which I thought was unusual. The PVT brings me to credit card info.. so I assume I failed unless anyone has had anything otherwise happen? If I failed, do I get any info on say.. if I was close or not to passing? Does getting ~95 questions instead of 75 say anything to anyone here? Will there be some detailed info on how I did, if so how long until that comes? Is waiting for the unofficial 48 hour results sufficient wait before paying again and rescheduling?
